How to reach us
Kanpur Central Railway Station is 15 km away from IIT Kanpur campus. Kanpur is very well connected with all major Indian cities by superfast trains.
Kanpur Airport has limited connectivity to Delhi and Mumbai. You may look at travel websites before planning a trip.
Lucknow Airport is preferable which has more number of flights to all major Indian cities and is located 90 km from IIT Kanpur.

If you are driving, then IIT Kanpur is located on Grand Trunk (GT) road at north-west edge of Kanpur city.

Upon arriving the IIT Kanpur main gate, you must clear the security and obtain a visitor's pass. Security personal will guide you to my office/laboratory location. My office is located in Southern Laboratory inside the academic area.
